Refund of the student union fee<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Generally the following applies:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The fee cannot be waived, reduced or deferred. There is no entitlement to a partial refund of the fee in the event of exmatriculation or withdrawal of enrolment during the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exception for severely disabled persons: Semesterticket contribution share<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students who are entitled to use local public transport free of charge due to their disability may be reimbursed the share of the fee charged for local public transport purposes upon application and proof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refund due to exmatriculation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A refund of the student union fee is possible due to: 1. payment of the student union fee without enrolment (\u00a7 6 No. 1 BO) 2. exmatriculation before or within two weeks after the beginning of the above-mentioned semester\/academic year (\u00a7 6 No. 1 BO) 3. exmatriculation after the beginning of the above-mentioned semester due to a change of university when enrolling at another university until the end of the first month of the semester\/academic year. (\u00a76 No. 2 BO) (Extension of the deadline by one month if the start of the semester at the other university is demonstrably later than at the university of first enrolment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In cases other than those listed, a refund is not possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Free meals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In individual cases, the Heidelberg Student Union may grant a meal subsidy to students who are particularly financially disadvantaged. The subsidy is usually granted once a semester upon application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on need, 50 or 100 euros can be granted per semester in the form of corresponding credit on a CampusCard. The completed application, together with a current certificate of enrolment, can be handed in personally at the Social Counselling Service, the ServiceCenter Altstadt or ServiceCenter INF or sent by post or e-mail to the Heidelberg Student Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
