The student union also has a private accommodation service in addition to its halls of residence. Many offers from private landlords go into this service, which are then shared with students who are looking for accommodation.

You can find blackboards (Schwarze Bretter) - boards with small slips of paper with private rental offers on - in canteens, cafés, educational institutes, photocopying shops, in the university library and the International Office. Just have a look and see if there's anything for you there.
